Year 3/4 Barton Camp
Years 3 and 4 went off to Barton Camp this week for an exciting night away.
The children had a brilliant time, and were so well behaved - they were all an absolute credit to our school.
We're sure they'll have lots of exciting stories to tell when they get home - we look forward to welcoming them back to school on Monday and wish them all (and our adventurous staff) a very restful weekend!
Welcome to the CTK Family...
This week we have welcomed our brand new Reception Class into school.
They have had a wonderful week getting to know staff, exploring their new learning environment and making new friends.
It has been absolutely wonderful having them and we look forward to watching them learn and grow during their time with us.
Flu Vaccinations
Earlier this week we sent out information about this year's Flu Vaccinations.
The vaccinations are available to all children in Reception-Year 6 and will take place on Thursday 5th November.

Big Thanks to YOU!
We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of the parents who attended our Meet the Teacher sessions this week.
We had a great turn out and it was lovely for our teachers to be able to meet so many of you.

School Clubs
Please not the futher additions to our after school clubs for next week.
Multi Sports and Archery will be available to book from Monday morning.
Early Collections
If you need to collect your child before the end of the school day, this MUST be arranged prior to collection. You will also be asked for evidence of any appointments - without providing this, the absence will be marked as unauthorised which will effect your child's overall attendance.
We are unable to remove children from assemblies on Mondays and Fridays afternoons so if you arrive to collect your child withour prior notification (before 12.30pm) you will be asked to wait until children return to their classes.
Awards & celebrations
If your child has received a Head Teachers award this week, you are welcome to join us for Celebration Assesmbly on Monday to help them celebrate as they are awarded their certificate. Please arrive at school at 2.40pm ready for assembly to start at 2.45pm

ATTENDANCE
As always, we will be promoting GREAT ATTENDANCE this school year!
We've had some fantastic attendance already this week - here are this week's ATTENDANCE LEADERS...
Our leaderboard shows some fantastic attendance, with 3 classes achieving our attendance target of 96%. But remember, classes that achieve at least 99% attendance in a week will be rewarded with a non-uniform day, so keep up the great work!
We will also be handing out individual attendance awards at the end of term for children who manage 100% attendance!
Community
Diane from Family Hubs will be joining us at school on Friday 25th September.
She will be avilable to meet with parents from 9-11am and can offer support and signposting on a variety of different topics.
If you would like to meet with her, please come along to coffee morning, or drop-in any time before 11am - no appointment necessary
