Ash Wednesday Mass 2025
This week we visited Church of Christ the King for our Ash Wednesday Mass.
We were kindly joined by Father Richard from St Nicholas of Tolentine Parish who led the service for us.
Parents and families are always welcome to join us at church for Mass, and we will let you know of the dates for our next massess as they are scheduled.

The Pyjama day also kicked off this year's Lenten Fundraising - where we will be running a different activity each week to raise money for the Emmaus Water Project and other local charities.

🌟100% ATTENDANCE ACROSS THE WHOLE SCHOOL 🌟
Yesterday, EVERY SINGLE CHILD attended school! ! This is a fantastic achievement, and goes to show that it is possible!
Whilst we are absolutely amazed and grateful that everyone has made extra effort to get here to celebrate World Book Day, we'd love to see this happen EVERY DAY!
Please support us in raising attendance, by keeping up today's good work!
This week has been super busy in Nursery Class!
We have been baking, eating, creating, learning, helping and playing.
On Monday, the children made hot cross buns and learned of their importance for Easter. It may be a bit early for hot cross buns, however the children learned lots of skills about measuring, mixing, kneading, preparing and cleaning. They all worked super hard and produced some amazing tasting, smelling and looking hot cross buns.
On Tuesday, we had pancakes in celebration for Shrove Tuesday. The children tried a variety of chocolate spread, jam, golden syrup, blueberries and raisins on their pancakes. It was a very yummy treat, and the children learned of Lent and why we start with pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. In understanding of the Lent period, the children role played the parable of the Good Samaritan, taking turns to play each character and discuss what it means to be a good friend and care for each other.
Wednesday's PE was outside, and the children all played catch in pairs, we played the potato game, and did a dynamic warm up too. Their hand eye coordination is impressive and we are super proud of their hard work for PE.
Thursday gave us World Book Day, and lots of variety of pyjamas. We heard, and watched lots of different stories, made a patchwork Elmer, had a special Room on the Broom snack, and had lots of fun throughout the day playing in pyjamas.
Before lunch, the children did a balloon experiment, and discussed what may happen when they are feeling lots of big emotions, and the balloon blows all over the place.
There has been lots of fun, learning and laughter all week.
It has been a lovely first few weeks of Term 4.
