Nursery Curriculum

In the nursery, the children are taught 2-4 new signs every two weeks. Some of the signs are in conjunction with the learning foci, others are more generic signs that can be used in an every day contexts. 

The Makaton is taught for every child to have a base level of communication to build from as not all of our children speak the same language or speak with clarity. All our children are different and accepted for their differences, we provide them with the tools to have the strongest starts in life possible to continue to learn, develop and grow from.
