Industrial Action  - Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July 

As you may be aware, there are further Strike Days planned by Teachers within the National Education Union (NEU) on Wednesday 5th July and Friday 7th July. 

We can confirm that the following classes WILL BE OPEN ON BOTH DAYS:

Year 6 Camp

Last Friday, our Year 6 class headed off to Dean Field Study Centre for a very packed weekend! 

They took part in so many activities, from archery to zip wire, and took some VERY LONG walks organised by Mr. Condon! 

Despite some very late nights, the children were a credit to School of Christ the King all weekend and we are so glad we get to send them off to secondary school with some wonderful memories. 

Year 3 - Bristol Museum Visit 

On Monday, Year 3 visited Bristol Museum as part of their History topic work. 

They had the opportunity to use VR to to learn about Stone Age cave art  - what a fantastic and exciting way to experience history!! 

Bristol Beacon Summer Sing 

On Wednesday, our school choir travelled into central Bristol to take part in the Summer Sing. They joined other schools across the city to perform at the Bristol Beacon and we couldn't have been more proud of them! 

The children then enjoyed a walk around the Harbourside and lunch in Queen Square. It was a fantastic afternoon and we look forward to sharing more opprtunities like this with our Choir. 

Year 4 River Walk 

Year 4 had an exciting local river walk on Thursday, following Pigeonhouse Stream and the Malago. They covered 8km and saw lots of features that they had been learning about in class earlier in the week. 

Year 6 Transition Information

There are a number of transition days for Year 6 pupils taking place over the next few weeks: 

For children attending Oasis Daventry Road there will be a Parent Induction Evening held at Oasis John Williams on Tuesday 4th July - starting promptly at 5.00pm. 

Sports Day 

Sports Day 2023 will be taking place on Friday 15th September 2023. More details will follow soon!
