School Choir - Summer Sing
On Wednesday our fabulous School Choir took part in the Summer Sing at Bristol Beacon.
They travelled down to the city centre to join other schools for a full day of rehearsals and in the evening, set to the stage to perform in front of a live audience of hundreds of people! What an amazing achievement!
The children were incredibly well behaved throughout the entire event and were a real credit to CTK.
Remember, that all children from Year 3-Y6 are welcome join school choir, so if your child is moving up to KS2 and enjoys singing, make sure to sign them up in September!
Zoo Farm Fun with Year 1
This week, our Year 1 class visited Noah's Ark Zoo Farm to finish off the work they'd been doing as part of their topic this term.
The children enjoyed seeing so many different animals, and managed so well with all the walking they did!
They behaved brilliantly all day - it was a joy to share this experience with them!

Photographs of Children
You may have noticed that the photos in this week's newsletter look a little different to ususal.
With AI becoming more and more common, we wanted to make sure we were doign everything possible to keep our children safe from certain online risks. With this in mind, all pictures that we share going forward will be a cartoon version of the photographs.
This gives us a creative way of sharing with families what has been happening at school, whilst continuing to keep our children safe.
We currently have no plans to replace historical pictures on the website, however if there is a specific picture of your child you would like us to remove/edit, please contact the school office.
This week has been quite relaxed. The end of the school year is fast approaching and the children have been AMAZING this year. They have pushed themselves, created wonderful friendships and grown so much!
For the last couple weeks, we have chosen to have a calm time, repeating previous lessons to check the children's knowledge for Reception and allow them to chill before the summer.
They have been as active as ever however, chatting about the football, playing together, being creative and showing off their wonderful behaviour as they learn, play and move around the school.
They are a credit to you all!
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Dale and the Nursery Team
We are now ready to share with you some staffing updates for the new school year...
You may notice that there are some new names on this list, as well as some names missing. This is because as well as staff changing classes, some are moving on to pastures new, and some teachers are joining us from other schools...
Mr Prichard
As you know, Mr Prichard will be leaving us to take up a Deputy Head Position at The Manor Primary School in South Gloucestershire.
Mr Hewett
Mr Hewett will be joining us from St Mary Redcliffe Primary School and will be teaching our Year 1 class in September. The children will have the opportunity to meet him on their transition afternoon, and we hope you join us in giving him a warm welcome to the CTK family.
The Wednesday Word
