Today has been the final day at CTK for Mr Purser.Â
Mr P has been been with us at School of Christ the King for most of his teaching career, and has grown from student, to teacher, to beloved Deputy Head during his time with us.Â
He is now leaving us for the next chapter in his journey as an educator - to become Principal of St Francis Catholic Primary School in Nailsea.Â
We are incredibly sad to see him leave, and the positive impact he has had on the lives of his pupils, colleagues and wider CTK community will certainly not be forgotten.Â
We hope you'll join us in wishing him all the best in his new role.Â
Staffing UpdatesÂ
Following Mr Pursers departure, we are very happy to announce that Mrs Jordan will be stepping up as Deputy Head Teacher for CTK.Â
As you already know, Mrs Jordan has been our Assistant Head for a number of years, so knows all the children well and has a great deal of experience. She will also be staying on as our SENDCo and will continue to support families as always.Â
We wish her the best of luck with this new opportunity.Â
We have also had interviews this week for a Nursery Class Teacher, and are pleased to announce that Miss Dale will be remaining with us to teach our Nursery pupils. If you've not yet had a chance to meet her, or see the positive impact she's already made to our school, be sure to check out the Nursery Newsletter hereÂ
