🌟 the end of an era 🌟

Today has been the final day at CTK for Mr Purser.

Mr P has been been with us at School of Christ the King for most of his teaching career, and has grown from student, to teacher, to beloved Deputy Head during his time with us.

He is now leaving us for the next chapter in his journey as an educator - to become Principal of St Francis Catholic Primary School in Nailsea.

We are incredibly sad to see him leave, and the positive impact he has had on the lives of his pupils, colleagues and wider CTK community will certainly not be forgotten.

We hope you'll join us in wishing him all the best in his new role.

Staffing Updates

Following Mr Pursers departure, we are very happy to announce that Mrs Jordan will be stepping up as Deputy Head Teacher for CTK.

As you already know, Mrs Jordan has been our Assistant Head for a number of years, so knows all the children well and has a great deal of experience. She will also be staying on as our SENDCo and will continue to support families as always.

We wish her the best of luck with this new opportunity.

We have also had interviews this week for a Nursery Class Teacher, and are pleased to announce that Miss Dale will be remaining with us to teach our Nursery pupils. Monday - Friday - Mini Chill Time Klub - 3.20 - 4.00pm - £2.00 per session

Chill Time Klub - 3.20 - 4.30pm - £3.50 per session

Monday - Key Stage 2 Choir - 3.20 - 4.00pm

Tuesday - Key Stage 1 Ball Skills - 3.20 - 4.00pm

Key Stage 2 Gardening Club - 3.20 - 4.00pm - STARTING 29TH APRIL - LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE - PLEASE SPEAK TO MISS MORSE TO BOOK

Wednesday - Year 5 Football - 3.20-4.00pm

Thursday - Key Stage 1 Move and Groove - 3.20-4.00pm

Friday - Key Stage 2 Archery - 3.20 - 4.00pm

IMPORTANT CLUB REMINDERS:

All clubs, with the exception of Chill Time, are offered free of charge however they MUST be booked in advance using the Arbor Parent Portal.
If your child attended a club last term, they will not automatically be booked in for this term, please re-book using the app.
Please be aware that if you have an outstanding balance from last term, you will not be able to book clubs until this has been cleared.

PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT THERE IS NO CHILL ON WEDNESDAY 23RD APRIL DUE TO STAFF TRAINING

Spring/Summer Menu

We have now received our Spring/Summer menu from our catering partner, Chartwells. The warmer terms mean the return of Salad Bar and Wraps, which have always been a pupil favourite.
