Our Catholic Social Teaching theme during Term 1 was 'Caring for Creation.'
With this in mind, our Chaplaincy Team organised a donation box, collecting food and clothing for local charity, The Matthew Tree Project.
The collection was a resounding success and the Chaplaincy Team delivered the donations to the charity themselves - showing their strength and stewards of God's creation; Caring for their world and all who live in it.
The Feast of Christ the King is a Catholic celebration that takes place on the last Sunday of the liturgical year in the Catholic faith.
It is a way to recognise Jesus Christ as the 'King of Kings' and honour him as Lord over all creation.
To celebrate The Feast of Christ the King, we were joined by Father Matt for a special Mass at our church.
In November 2024, our Chaplaincy Team visited Clifton Cathedral to receive their chaplaincy badges from Bishop Bosco as part of a special service.
Chaplaincy is an important aspect of the faith life of our school and the team work hard to promote our gospel values around the school and community.
It was with great sadness, in September 2024, we announced the passing of our Parish Priest, Father Michael D'Mello.
Father Michael was a much loved member of our school and church community and we were joined by Father Matt in October to celebrate his life and remember the wonderful things he did for us
