Just like our main primary school classes, Christian faith and values are at the heart of all that we do at Christ the King Nursery.
We encourage children to be the best they can be in Nursery, and support their school journey through learning, laughter, excitement, prayer and experience. Much like in our main school, Catholic Social Teaching, plays a big part in your child's time at Nursery...
The children learned of Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey. In order to support their understanding, they re-enacted the story and laid down the jackets for our 'Jesus' to walk through.
They really enjoyed themselves and have asked to re-do the activity again soon.
Josh got lots of CST stickers for his good choices.
He received one for finding a toy for a child who was upset to make them happier.
He received another for facing his fears of heights and climbing the climbing wall and sliding down the fireman's pole too.
He received the third one for using his kind words to his friends when they had hurt themselves and finding an adult to help them too.
Josh has been an absolute delight to have in class and is truly showing of his strong understanding of what it is to be a good friend.
Well done Josh!
Josh, Zoe, David & Nathan earned lots of CST stickers for making lots of good choices.
These choices included sharing toys, helping their friends, being good role models and being aware of others making poor choices and seeking an adult for support.
They are great role models for all who are around them!
Nathan got extra special stickers today as he has shown great development within himself and for his classmates and classroom.
He takes care of others in the class, he is kind, hardworking and a great role model to others.
Nathan embodies many of our school values and puts his Catholic Social Teaching into action too.
We are extremely proud of Nathan!!
Wynter-Rose, Nathan, Abraham & Austin showed excellent care for their environment by tidying it well and showed their responsibility for their equipment by showing others how to treat things with consideration.
They were all given a Rights and Responsibilities sticker, which they chose to have placed on their foreheads.
Angel received a Rights and Responsibilities sticker for taking responsibility for her classroom and tidying with care and helping others too.
Nursery class made their first virst visit to church and enjoyed listening to KS2 children sing some carols
