curriculum highlights
visiting bristol beacon
Year 6 visited the newly refurbished Bristol Beacon concert hall to watch the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra perform Explore the Orchestra: Dance, Dance, Dance!
It was a great experience where the children learnt about the orchestra whilst aslo having a chance to sing and dance.
drumming workshops
Year 5 have been lucky enough to receive drumming lessons from musicians at Bristol Beacon.
The children showcased their newly learnt skills to pupils and parents in a special performance. We think you'll agree we've got some pretty talented dummers in our midst...
city of bristol brass band
We were lucky enough to be joined by City of Bristol Brass Band for a special Christmas performance.
It was wonderful to be visited by such talented musicians, and the children really enjoyed hearing their Christmas favourites played by a live band!
the sound of drums
Our Year 3 class have been lucky enough to have lessons in Djembe Drumming from musicians at Bristol Beacon.
choir outing
Wow, our wonderful choir have made us so proud!
We caught the bus into town, had lunch in Queen Square and watched the boats in the harbour, all before performing at Bristol Beacon! They were absolutely fantastic!
Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take photos in the venue, so here are some snaps of our brilliant choir out and about in Bristol!
