Football Success!

The U11 boys took to Imperial last night in the first of four tournaments and what a cracking start! We came away with three wins and a very close draw - very well done boys! They all showed excellent teamwork through encouraging and congratulating each other. Great play from all the boys with particular shout outs to Conrad, our top goal scorer for the night, and Freddie, as always, was super saver in goal letting very little get past him. Great work and look forward to seeing more great football in the coming weeks - go team CTK!

Police Visit

This week Years 3-6 were joined for an assembly by Andri Nicolaou who is the Child Exploitation prevention officer for Operation TOPAZ from Avon and Somerset Police.

In the assembly she spoke with the children about:

When asked approximately 85% of the junior children reported they have use of a device which is connected to the internet.

WORRYINGLY the same amount of children admitted they have friends on games and Apps that they don't know.

Many children spoke of having Snap chat, Tik Tok and Instagram. These are all Apps where they should be 13 to access.

The children were advised to ask parents to help them go to the settings on each App and set them as private, without this they are at risk of being exposed to materials not suitable to their age.

Please regularly check the devices your children use to keep them safe.
