Chaplaincy Commissioning
This week our Chaplaincy Team visited Clifton Cathedral to receive their chaplaincy badges from Bishop Declan as part of a special service.
Chaplaincy is an important aspect of the faith life of the school and the team are looking forward to promoting our gospel values around the school and community.
Parent Volunteers
We would like to create a small team of parents who are available to help out with school trips. We would offer some simple training and a full DBS check would be required to ensure safety. . Parent volunteers would not necessarily be on trips with their own child’s class but would have a great opportunity to support the school and our children. Please contact the school office if you are interested.
Parents' Evening
A reminder that Parents’ Evening will be held next week on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th October from 3:30pm - 5:50pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear how well your child is getting on at school. If you have not yet booked an appointment, please contact the school office to do so.
Year 4 Blaise Castle Visit
Last Friday, Year 4 visited Blaise Hamlet and the surrounding area as part of their ‘Settlements and Landuse’ Geography topic. They had an absolutely brilliant time exploring the Hamlet, Blaise Folly, Hazel Brook and more. Of course, the children experienced having the entire park to themselves which was a well deserved treat

WELLBEING
ATTENDANCE
Punctuality
Please can we once again remind parents that the school day begins at 8.50am and all children should be in school by this time. Children arriving late will receive a late mark on the register which can affect your child's overall attendance. Those arriving after 9.20am will received an unauthorised mark for the morning session and this can result in a penalty notice (fine).
Breakfast Club is available to all pupils, and not only gives them a healthy start and time with their friends, it also ensures they are in school on time each day.
