Admin Apprentice Vacancy 

We currently have a vacancy for an Inter-School Admin Support Apprentice. 

The role will support school administration across 3 schools, including School of Christ the King.

Your Holiday Hub 

Children and young people who are eligible for free school meals will once again be able to access free holiday activities and nutritious meals this winter break.

With over 180 activities to choose from this holiday, including festive arts and crafts, cooking workshops and even Ninja Warrior, eligible families are encouraged to find out what’s on this winter through the Your Holiday Hub website. Children and young people aged four to 16 who are eligible, and in-receipt of free school meals can access Your Holiday Hub for free.

Eligible children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or an education, health and care plan are welcome at YHH. Families can contact the organisation or session they would like to attend to discuss their child’s individual needs.

Welcome back to the New Year.  We hope you all had a lovely time celebrating Christmas and New Year.

Headteacher’s Awards

Reception - Melody and Chanelle - For their fantastic independent sentence writing when describing the Gingerbread Man. 

Year 1 - For Ivy, Daniel, Shanaya and Ivan for independently drawing their own interpretation of what The Three Wise Men looked like, showing great concentration and perseverance.

Year 2 - Kaylum and Amelia - for working together to solve mathematical problems. They independently used their number line and helped each other. Great work!

Year 3 - Alfie- For his excellent contributions in science this week. Alfie was very engaged in learning about the composition of soil and responded brilliantly to questions in class. Well done, Alfie!

Year 4 - Brody - for absolutely "smashing" his mathematics this week. He has listened and acted on feedback and shown great improvement - keep it up!

Year 5 - Tallulah -  for her encouragement and support of Freddie. Freddie - for responding well to Tallulah's encouragement and support - superb teamwork from them both!

Year 6 - Mia and Tianna - for their excellent contributions, collaboration and all round enthusiasm in class. What a great start to 2023!
