Industrial Strike Action

As you may be aware, there are further Strike Days planned by Teachers within the National Education Union (NEU) on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May.

We can confirm that the following classes WILL BE OPEN on Thursday 27th April:

For classes not listed above (Nursery and Year 5),  we can not currently confirm if those classes will be closed or not. Because of this, we do advise that parents begin to make arrangements for their children to not be in school on this day. It is possible that the situation could change and we will keep you updated between now and Thursday 27th April.

Lenten Fundraising

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone for supporting us in our Lenten fundraising last term - We are very pleased to announced that we raised a fantastic £987.40!!

Booking After School Clubs

Please can we politely remind parents that clubs MUST be booked before 12.00noon on the day of the club. Many of our clubs are very popular and spaces fill up very quickly and late bookings can often not be accommodated.

School Uniform

Please can we once again remind parents that children should be coming into school in the correct uniforms, and PE kits on their correct day.

Children should not be wearing branded sports wear for PE, and should instead be wearing a plain white t-shirt and plain black shorts/leggings/joggers. We will make contact with parents of children who do not come to school in the correct kit, and children may also be provided with spare kit to change into.

If you would like more information about our school uniform, visit https://www.ctk.education/important-information/school-uniform

Payments for School Clubs/School Meals

Please can we remind parents to ensure that payments for school meals and after school clubs are made promptly. You may have noticed that reminders are now being sent each Friday to those parents with outstanding balances; please be aware that non-payment for after school clubs will result in children not being able to attend and that non-payment for school meals may result in us requesting your child comes to school with a packed lunch instead of receiving a hot meal. Whilst we understand that the cost of living has affected many of our families, as a school we cannot afford to subsidise non-payment of these items. If you have any concerns around this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
